Arlosoroff, Haim
(1899-1933)
   Ukrainian Zionist leader. He lived in Germany where he was active in the Ha-Poel ha-Tzair party. He emigrated to Palestine in 1924 and became editor of the monthly journal Mapai. In 1931 he was elected to the executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel and headed its political department in Jerusalem. In 1933 he aided the emigration of German Jews to Palestine. His writings, Kitvei Haim Arlosoroff, were published in seven volumes.
